I worked the B Michael Couture Spring runway show again this year. It was fun but hard work as usual. I had a great time, met some fun and amazing new friends, and cant wait to do again next season!!!

More Fun at Lincoln Center

We are coming with the post as fast as we can! We are still very swamped. Working 9 to 5, late night runway shows, everyday errands, plus the blog. Still getting adjusted to NYC life.
But anywho on to the Fashion week stuff.
The next day... Sunday that is, Lincoln Center was PACKED! Everyone was there. We saw so much fabulous street fashion, and we saw some of our fashion idols, like June Ambrose and RIHANNA!!!  Okay... Ri-Ri wasn't there, but we secretly hoped she would be, lol!
But June was there with the equally fabulous Mr. Jay! We saw Nina Garcia, Paris and Nikki, and the biggest diva of them all Mr. Andre' Leon Tally. We felt like such creepers trying to sneak pics of him as he ate lunch across the way from us... hmmm.
Anyways, no runway shows this time, but none were needed, the best show was definitely going on outside with all the fabulous street style.

Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012

The Monique Lhuillier show was amazing! It was like an underwater dream! There were beautifully light dresses in bold bright blues and gorgeous greens that were light and breathtaking like the Caribbean Ocean. The models were like mermaid goddesses. Then there was the dark leather and eye-catching black and white print separates that brought you deep down into the underwater abyss. There were also some magenta pieces and deep purple lace pieces that reminded you of the beautiful Coral reefs of Maldives.  Monique brought it! The show was gorg!

This leather dress is edgy and sophisticated at the same time! We love it!

The peplum top is in, and Lhuillier did it beauftifully time and time again.

Love this top! Imagining it with some black high waist skinnies, and some sexy black pumps!

This print is gorgeous! And the cut of the shoulders is a sexy touch.

This Dress, This Print - Its giving us EVERYTHING! Love the scales print with the carribbean blue color.  The model is a fierce mermaid, who grew her legs and is walking on water. YESSSSS!

This black lace dress topped them all. Can we turn this 3/4 sleeve to a regular sleeve and throw it on somebody for the Oscars....please??? Gotta see this dress in action again.

At the Monique Lhuillier Show

The Monique Lhuillier show was our first time actually attending a high end, top designer's runway show. We were so excited to be there we could not contain ourselves. We were initially supposed to be in the standing room section but at just the right time we snuck up to the third row and sat in two seats as if our names were on them...lol! We were nervous but were like what the heck, if they catch us then we just move... no biggie! Anyways we sat next to some lovely people who were just as excited as us. The show begin and it was beautiful. We loved almost every piece. After the show we were able to get access to back stage. We saw the stunning models, Brad from "It's a Brad Brad World" (Rachel Zoe's Ex-Assistant), and of course the beautifully humble Monique Lhuillier.

Day 2 of NYFW was amazing for us! We got some great street style pics, saw some celebs and attended the Monique Lhuillier show. It was awesome!
